Children's Home Society  (CHS) Information

  • Today there are 14 divisions across the state
  • Multi-service organization aiding children and families, including education,   prevention, counseling,
    foster care, group care,  adoption services, and services for aging-out teens.
  • Plays a key role in Florida's legislative arena
  • Founding member of Child Welfare League of America
  • Continuous national accreditation from the Council on Accreditation since 1982
  • Serves an average 100,000 children and families each year
  • CHS/ Treasure Coast Division was formed in 1991
  • CHS/ Treasure Coast Division serves Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River and Okeechobee counties
